Meet the Instructors

I'm Kellie Hoffman and I have lived in West Virginia all my life. I have degrees from Marshall University and Mountwest Community College. I have practiced yoga for 16 years. In 2020, I decided to go ahead and become a certified yoga instructor. I attended Brooke Sullivan's The WIld Temple and am now an RYT-200 Yoga instructor. I have done many types of yoga such as Kundalini, Hatha and HIIT Yoga. I trained in the Himalayan Sage tradition and I absolutely love it.

I'm also a 600 hour certified Ayurvedic Health Counselor and am the owner of Be Centered Health Coaching and  Yoga. I love teaching others how to live healthier and take care of themselves by using the ancient sciences of Yoga and Ayurveda.

Jennifer McComas, a School Counselor at Nichols Elementary has a BA in Elementary Education grade 1-6 with an early childhood specialization. She has an MA in Metal Health Counseling with a certification in Professional School Counseling. As a school counselor and teacher for more than 25 years, Jennifer has witnessed the effects of trauma on students and families, often as a result of addition and substance abuse, combined with her own families struggle with abuse. This insight has led her to seek out training around issues of addition and trauma through residential treatment facilities, an operational team in her school, and the Cabell County School District Trauma Team.

Yoga and mindfulness have played a central role in Jennifer's own healing process and as a result she has extensive training in trauma-informed yoga, Yoga of 12 Step Recovery, a Transparency Coaching Program , Yoga teacher certification, and Kid's Yoga Training. The Transparency Program provided extensive study in the effects of trauma, clear understanding of attachment styles, somatic effects of trauma, along with mindfulness and yoga practices which along with her various other studies is integrated into her counseling program.

Gloria Sage, MA, RYT 200, is a yoga teacher and energy medicine practitioner. She completed yoga teacher training with Anna Pittman in 2016 and has taught yoga and mindfulness classes at Peacetree Center, and taught teachers how to imbed yoga and mindfulness practices into their classrooms.

Gloria has studied a variety of energy medicine modalities, including Eden Energy Medicine, Touch for Health, and Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). She likes to incorporate energy medicine techniques into her yoga teaching and her classes combine slow, mindful movement, breathing and meditation, designed to reduce stress and reset your nervous system.
